JOY CHAMBER ORCHESTRA
For the beginning level orchestra, 1st – 4th grade, each musician learns how to follow a conductor and to play as an ensemble. They learn orchestra rehearsal techniques, learn musical terms, and understand basic music theory through learning and performing Classical repertoires, especially arranged for their instruments and their level.
CONCERT ORCHESTRA
Goal for our intermediate level orchestra, made up of 3rd – 8th grade students, is to learn and perform Classical repertoires especially arranged for their instruments and their level. Also, we teach the fundamentals of music theory under the instruction of conductor and their group instructors.
SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA
An advanced level orchestra is composed of 8th – 12th grade students, focusing on learning and performing various Symphonies, Overtures, and Concertos from Classical and Romantic Era.
